Mark began his direct marketing career in 1979 when he built a direct mail fund raising program for a membership organization. Three years later, he put together his own direct marketing firm, and has been involved in direct response fundraising agency work ever since.
Mr. Jacobson has initiated, strategized, consulted, managed, analyzed, and/or functioned as creative director for over 1,300 successful direct marketing fundraising programs for more than 250 different non-profit organizations nationwide. His specialties have included strategic planning, creative (program concept, copy writing, direct mail package design), advanced segmentation, and analytics.
Clients served include regional and national healthcare and medical/health-related, higher education, Catholic and religious, alumni based fraternal organizations, animal welfare, social services, membership organizations and associations, environmental, cultural, historical, and preservation organizations.
